BANGALORE, June 22: The Karnataka tourism department, buoyed by the popularity of its Internet edition and multi-media CD-ROM facility providing information on key tourist attractions in the State, is to launch an intensive marketing drive. An inter-State plan of action, involving neighbouring Kerala, TN and AP, is also being considered, as well as bringing in a Tourism Trade Act to regulate the activities of private operators and agencies.
