VELLORE, June 22: The treatment and control of leprosy are to be integrated with the primary health services in TN, giving access to more manpower for the control of the disease. Nalini Keshavaraj, training co-ordinator of the Danish Leprosy Eradication Programme (DANLEP), Chennai, made the announcement while delivering the special address on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary celebrations of the Schieffelin Leprosy Research and Training Centre at nearby Karigiri.
