NEW DELHI, June 24: The Government is likely to take a decision on the implementation of the Fifth Pay Commission report before the monsoon session of Parliament begins next month.

This morning, a group of ministers headed by Prime Minister I K Gujral discussed at length the recommendations of the empowered committee of secretaries set up to study the Pay Commission report.
