CHENNAI, June 23: A resident of Chennai's Ayanavaram area was electrocuted on Sunday when she performed the mundane task of switching on her television set. The mishap was thought to have been caused by the induction of electricity into the cable connected to the set. Two cable TV operators have been arrested. Following the incident, scared residents of the area refrained from switching on their television sets. The woman has been identified as Ambika Parvathi (24).
