A Central Bank player finds some space to shoot past an Income-Tax player in a Senior Division match which the former won 1-0.

July 1: Osborn d'Souza scored in the 62nd minute what turned out the winning goal for the Central Bank in their 1-0 win over Income-Tax in the Senior Division WIFA league match at the Cooperage today.

In a first division league match, SeaView trounced Versova Village Boys 4-1. Bryan D'Mello, Elroy Roland, Murali Raman, Valerian D'Souza scored for SeaView while Nandu Tapke reduced the margin for the losers.

ROYAL CATERERS TRIUMPH: Royal Caterers won the St. Xavier's Ex-student Association open football tournament when they got the better of Don Bosco Youth Centre (Kurla) in the final played at the St Xavier's School ground, Vile Parle.

Royal Caterers won 6-4 via tie-breaker after both the teams were deadlocked 1-1 at the end of regulation time. Hasmukh Baria put the winners ahead, but DBYC equalised through Peter Pereira.

In the tie-breaker, Hasmukh Baria, Suhas Patil, Neil D'Costa, Nazareth D'Souza, Douglas D'Esena and Santosh More scored for the Royal Caterers.
