BANGALORE, July 6: Four people were injured and the chief reporter of the Bangalore edition of Asian Age was admitted to a local hospital due to suffocation when a mob of 25 to 30 people attacked the newspaper's office here and set it on fire tonight.

The gang which came in two autorickshaws around 2015 hrs threatened the security staff and set on fire three two-wheelers parked inside the compound before entering the premises and attacked the staff with choppers and indulged in arson gutting the office, according to police.

The staff members rushed to safety and locked inside a room and were later rescued by the police.
