We will not bell the CM: JMM
Manoj Prasad
RANCHI, July 6: Jharkhandis have indicated that they may not ``nail'' Bihar Chief Minister Laloo Prasad Yadav, at least not till the formation of a new government in the state is crystallised. This was stated by Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) President and MP Shibu Soren and Vice-President Suraj Mandal, in exclusive interviews with The Indian Express today. ``We are not going to nail Laloo. Let his political foes first muster enough strength to vote out his government and form a new one. Then, we will reason out their case,'' said Soren, in reply to whether the JMM stands opposed to the ongoing campaign launched by the Janata Dal, CPI, CPI-ML and others against the Laloo government. The JMM has a strength of 16 MLAs. In the 1991 general elections, with the help of an alliance with the then National Front led by the Janata Dal, it had won six Lok Sabha seats, but could retain only Soren's Godda seat in 1996 when the JMM contested the polls alone.
