Anand shares lead with three others DORTMUND: Wondergirl Judith Polgar of Hungary stunned world No 4 Vasselin Topolov of Bulgaria in the second round of silver jubilee international chess tournament being played at Dortmund Opera House here.Judith now shares the lead with defending champion Viswanathan Anand, top seed Vladimir Kraminik and former challenger Nigel Short (all with one and half point). The match between Anand and Kramnik was a tense affair. Kramnik went for ultra sharp Pelikan Variation in the Sicilian Defence and made his intentions clear. Anand replied aggressively by refusing to allow any play to Kramnik's pieces. The Indian tried to take advantage of Kramnik's weaknesses by trading major pieces in the centre of the board. The top seed's immaculate handling of defence resulted in an equal position when they decided to call it a day by agreeing a draw on 24th move.
