He witnesses a friend's murder in the hostel by Shiva, son of an underworld don. He succumbs to the don's threat not to testify against him, but he takes the law into his own hands and kills Shiva. So begins his trauma. He is chased by the don's men and cops and shunned by friends.

Star Plus introduces two new comedies. Produced by actress Asha Parekh, Daal... revolves around four brothers and three sisters who share the same residence and the same landlady. Navin Nishchol is the woman-hating eldest brother and Reena Roy plays the modern fun-loving eldest sister. Others in the cast include Vivek Vaswani, Renuka Shahane and Paintal. nThe second comedy Maal Hai To Taal Hai (Sunday, 10.30 am) is about miserly Keemat Lal who yearns to become the ghar-sasur of his younger son-in-law. Stars Jatin Kanakia, Shoma Anand and Tiku Talsania.
