CHENNAI, July 6: Chandrasekharan (40) and his wife, Sivagami (35) allegedly set themselves on fire in their house in Ranganathapuram, on July 5. They were admitted to the Government Royapettah hospital and later to the Kilpauk Medical college Hospital where they succombed to their burns. A woman and her son who tried to save the couple sustained injuries, and the former, Karuppayee also died at the GRH.
