Volkswagen offers Sicom equity in project

Nokia Telecom allowed to import mobile handsets
The Centre has allowed international telecom giant Nokia to import cellular phone handsets through its 100 per cent Indian subsidiary, Nokia Telecom Pvt Ltd, for sale in the domestic market. The clearance by the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) to Nokia Telecom follows an assurance by Nokia that it would set up a local manufacturing facility for manufacture of cellular phone handsets.

SAIL loses sleep over Rourkela, Durgapur units performance

Divestment Commission chairman GV Ramakrishna called upon researchers in business management to study the implications of globalisation and the impact of economic liberalisation. He stated that the country should be prepared to meet the challenges of globalisation and the process of economic liberalisation should be stepped up.
