BANGALORE, July 16: The Karnataka government has permitted Volvo, Sweeden, to ply air-conditioned, luxury buses on select routes in the city on a trial basis. The buses, with a seating capacity of 150-200, will start running within the next 100 days. The will be operated only during peak hours, in special lanes. The service, to be managed by the BTS, will be allowed to continue if found viable.
