CHENNAI, July 17: Well-known cardiologist, Dr K M Cherian, Dr B S R Reddy of the CLRI (Chemical Sciences) and Dr V Karuppaiyan (Anthropology) of the Madras University are among the 10 scientists identified by the Tamil Nadu State Council as recipients of awards in recognition of their contributions to science and society. The awards carry a cash prize of Rs 10,000 each, and a citation.
