CHENNAI, July 21: The All India Plastics Manufacturers Association and the Tamil Nadu Plastics Manufacturers' Association will organise a one-day conference here on July 25, with a view to highlight the importance of plastics and its applications. Industry sources say that the conference assumes importance in the wake of the emergence of Chennai as a leading centre for automobile industry. Shankar Krishnan, MD, Dupont India, will be the chief guest at the conference.
