MADURAI, July 22: A four-member gang attacked the priest and two nuns at a church in R S Mangalam here before decamping with valueables worth Rs 2.5 lakh. The gang gained entry into Fr Ignatius' chamber after convincing him that they wanted to hear his sermon. Once inside, the gang attacked the members with lethal weapons, injuring them in the process.
