NEW DELHI, July 25: The Amateur Athletic Federation of India (AAFI) today suspended top distance runner Gulab Chand for three months for failing to participate in today's second Domestic Athletic meet here without giving any reason.

Taking a tough stand on the erring athlete from Uttar Pradesh, one of those sent to London for acclimatisation and competition, the AAFI secretary Lalit Bhanot also said that action would be taken against all absentees from the national camp now on at NIS, Patiala.
