Film making hit as new trouble surfaces
CHENNAI, July 23: The film industry in Tamilnadu is in trouble again with the South Indian Cine Outdoor Unit Association refusing to provide equipments for shooting of films from July 19, except to Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI). It might be noted that the impasse in the industry has been going on for some time now between film directors and FEFSI. Efforts to find an amicable solution bore no fruits even after chief minister, Karunanidhi's interference in the issue. Copyright © 1997 Indian Express Newspapers (Bombay) Ltd.
