KSIIDC to arrange FDIs for SSIs
BANGALORE, July 24: The Karnataka State Industrial Investment Development Corporation (KSIIDC) will act as the nodal agency for attracting foreign direct investments and NRI investments for small scale industries (SSIs) in the State, according to KSIIDC managing director, R N Chawan. Dharwad, Raichur and Hassan had been identified as industrial growth sectors in the State, he added. Speaking at the technology meet with the Malaysian delegation, jointly organised by AP Industrial and Technology Consultancy Organisation and the Technical Consultancy Services Organisation of Karnataka, he said that infrastructure development, airports development, upgradation of minor ports would be the main thrust of the government.
