TIRUVALLUR, July 24: V Vasudevan, Nungambakkam panchayat union president here, was arrested when he attempted to immolate himself condemning the irregular power supply in his area. Despite having approached the concerned authorities in this connection, no action was taken and therefore he resorted to such a move.
