CHENNAI, July 24: The Rs 1,313.20 crore 'knitwear city' project to impove infrastructure facilities at Tirupur is expected to be take off in December this year. Four international consortias have already been shortlisted in this connection and the name of the final bidder is likely to be announced in September. The project is to be taken on a BOOT basis.
