NEW DELHI: The Government has decided to introduce a Constitution amendment bill in Parliament to make changes in the existing system of appointment of judges of the Supreme Court, Chief Justices and Judges of the High Courts and transfer of judges of High Courts, Minister of State for Law and Justice Ramakant D Khalap, informed the Rajya Sabha in a written reply.

MOSCOW: Delivery of Su-30 MKI multi-role fighter planes to India will continue on schedule despite an ongoing tussle between various partners of the units involved in its production, a top official of the Russian arms exporting company said. Earlier, local daily Izvestia reported that the deal could become a hostage to a power showdown between the design bureau chief Mikhail Simonov and the director general of the Aviation Military Industrial Complex Alexey Fydorov.

Train collision toll

FARIDABAD: The toll in Sunday night's train collision here has risen to 13 with the driver of the Karnataka Express succumbing to his injuries at the local Escorts Hospital even as normal rail traffic on the route was restored on Tuesday.
