CBI censures ITDC chief

NEW DELHI, July 29: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) told the Delhi High Court in its progress report relating to several inquiries pending against CMD of the India Tourism Development Corporation Anil Bhandari that his name was included in the agreed list of persons whose integrity was doubtful on the basis of information available. The agreed list is prepared in relation to all gazetted officers by the CBI and the vigilance department after obtaining information of their integrity and honesty. In its confidential report the CBI informed the court that action was recommended against Bhandari for allowing a person to occupy rooms in Ashoka Hotel without insisting on payments resulting in loss to the exchequer .
