DEHRA DUN, July 29: The local police and the intelligence agencies suspect the hand of some Kashmiri militant outfit in the minor blast which took place in a coach of the Howrah-bound 3010 dn Doon Express near Moradabad last week.

Senior Superintendent of Police Dehra Dun Anand Kumar said the sketch of the unidentified person, who reportedly planted the bomb in the coach - drawn on the basis of the memory of the Army personnel travelling in the coach - bears 60 per cent resemblance to the features of a common Kashmiri youth.Police sources said the local unit of the intelligence bureau was in touch with its Bhatinda branch to ascertain whether a Kashmiri outfit, which was reported to be behind the Bhatinda train blast, was also involved in the Doon Express blast.

Kumar has claimed that the city police was making all out efforts to arrest the suspected terrorists. A red alert has been sounded and posters of the sketch are being put up everywhere in the city. Policemen in plain clothes have been posted outside every hotel and dharmasala to check whether members of some terrorist outfit are staying in the city, Kumar added.

Meanwhile, all the eight leaders of Hurriyat Conference (HC), arrested under Unlawful Activities Act on Friday last were released unconditionally today.A Hurriyat spokesman said that Prof Abdul Gani Bhat, Mohammed Yaseen Malik, Javed Ahmad Mir, Ghulam Mohammad Huby, Mohammad Aslam Sheikh, Altaf Ahmed Bhat, Mushtaq Ahmad and Bita Guroo were set free unconditionally this afternoon.

They were arrested by the police under section 13/2 on Friday when they tried to enter Hazratbal shrine to address the Friday congregation.The police confirmed their release.
