PRESS TRUST OF INDIA

CUTTACK, July 29: The Orissa High Court today directed the secretary of `Vasundhara', to cooperate with the investigating and supervising officers in the attempted- rape case against the state's advocate general, Indrajeet Roy.

`Vasundhara' is the rehabilitation centre where Anjana Mishra, who has brought the charge against Roy, is staying.

A division bench comprising Chief Justice SN Phukan and Justice PK Tripathy also directed the additional SP, Cuttack, SA Hassan, the supervising officer in the case, to investigate in accordance with the law and asked Hemanta Kumar Jena, standing counsel of the central government, to assist the court.

Two other lawyers, asked by the court earlier to assist it as Mishra was not represented by any counsel, have expressed their inability to do so. But another lawyer, Debasish Panda appeared on behalf of Mishra today.
