SISSPA concern over removal of concession
COIMBATORE, July 28: The South India Small Spinners Association (SISSPA) has expressed concern over withdrawal of concessions to the small spinning mills and has called upon the Centre to permit import of second-hand textile machinery in order to upgrade these units. In view of the general recession, the small spinning mills needed massive investments for modernisation and had to import second-hand machines at a cheaper rate, says A V Ramaraj, president, SISSPA.
