1600-year-old memorial stone unearthed
CHENNAI, July 28: A 1600-year-old memorial stone bearing Tamil inscription in Vatteluttu characters has been unearthed from a remote village near Erode by the Tamil Nadu State Archaeological department. The stone was erected in memory of Karimitha Chathan and has been placed at the Basuvesvaraswami temple.
