KUSHALNAGAR, July 27: Two schools students were drowned in the rising waters of Harangi river at Kudige, near here, on July 26. It is believed that they had gone to the river to wash utensils. Meanwhile, a report in the Deccan Herald said the rains that continue to lash in Dakshina Kannada have destroyed property worth Rs 13 crore and roads measuring 1139 kilometres have been made inaccessible, according to sources in the deputy commissioner's office. In all, the flood has claimed the lives of 13 people.
