NAGPUR, July 31: A 12-year-old boy Dhiraj P Khare, hanged himself to death while trying to show his two brothers how a person is hanged. The incident occurred on Tuesday at Saikrupa Society in Narendra Nagar.

Dhiraj, was playing with his younger brothers, Vikas and Atul , while his elder sister, Sarika, had gone to fetch water. The boy's mother, Hema had gone out to attend to some work, police said. Vikas tied a dupatta around his neck in a mock act of hanging. To come up with a better show, Dhiraj took the dupatta, climbed on a small table and tied one of its end to the wooden bar across a door in the house. He put the other end of the cloth around his neck and pushed the table.
