BANGALORE, August 3: At least 20 persons were killed and 33 others were seriously injured when the lorry in which they were travelling turned turtle near Motebennur on the Pune-Bangalore National Highway. The deceased included 6 women. The people, on their way to a shandy in Ranebennur, were travelling by the lorry, already loaded with iron bars, and the driver of the vehicle reportedly lost control of the lorry while negotiating a turn.
