BANGALORE, August 3: As many as 48 cinema theatres in Bangalore city, apart from 11 temporary or touring theatres, have been found to violate fire safety norms. Some of the theatres which do not meet the specifications include Tribhuvan/Kailash, Sangam, Santosh, Abhinay, Aparna and Kapali. The State Fire Services Department has sought the cancellation of licences of these theatres or removal of of structures around the premises which hamper free access.
