CHENNAI, August 5: A man hailing from Pudukottai, who was deported from Singapore for not possessing valid papers, created a stir at the Chennai airport when he managed to give security personnel the slip, entered the tarmac and held on to the wheel of a plane preparing for departure. Police said the man refused to leave when asked to do so, and said on questioning that he thought the plane was leaving for Pudukottai, and hence he wanted to board it.
