BANGALORE, August 6: Action is to be initiated against the city's 48 cinema houses and 11 touring theatres which were found to be flouting safety norms. Karnataka minister of state for prisons and fire Services, V Somanna, said government would also take steps to amend the Fire Services Act to enable the department to take action against all those who did not conform to safety regulations.
