CHENNAI, August 6: All passengers of a first class bogie of the Yercaud Express escaped unhurt, though the bogie was itself destroyed in a fire mishap. The fire started in an electrical box in the coach, which was next to the engine, and was noticed in the wee hours. Passengers pulled the alarm chain, brought the train to a halt, and exited. Quick action by the railway personnel prevented the blaze from spreading.
