Gujral condemns the killing

Press Trust of India

August 12: Prime Minister I K Gujral today condemned the killing of Gulshan Kumar, the owner of Super Cassette Industries, and said the crime was "totally out of place in a civilized society."

"This universally condemnable act is a blot on the fair name of a city (Mumbai) known for its discipline and civic consciousness," he said. "Gulshan Kumar's loss will be mourned by all music lovers," the PM said.
