BANGALORE, Aug. 11: Areca growers in Karnataka have urged the government not to go ahead with the proposed ban on gutka which has led to a decline in red areca prices by about 40%, according to the central arecanut and cocoa marketing and processing cooperative limited (CAMPCO).
