MUNICH, Aug 13: Police searched the offices of Burda Publishers Tuesday on a complaint from top model Claudia Schiffer that Bunte magazine had possession of fake contracts between her and magician David Copperfield.

Munich police confirmed that some documents were confiscated. Bunte said the documents show that Schiffer and Copperfield allegedly agreed to appear in public as romantically linked.According to a recent Bunte report, agents for Schiffer and Copperfield arranged their first meeting. The report said there was a contract that stipulates Schiffer appear in public as Copperfield's girl friend, fiance and trusted partner and that she received $ 250,000 to sign.
