MUMBAI, August 13: Maharashtra Government has issued a notification of an inquiry into the July 11 incidents including desecration of Dr Ambedkar's bust and police firing.

The Government had declared setting up of a one-man inquiry committee comprising sitting Mumbai High Court judge S D Gundewar on July 16. The President accorded his sanction to the inquiry panel on July 24.
