CHENNAI, Aug. 12: The high level committee set up to probe the Thanjavur Sri Brahadeeswarar temple fire accident in June last, has suggested the enactment of a legislation to regulate the construction of temporary structures and pandals. The committee has said that a committee consisting of the Director of Fire Services, Chief Electricity Inspector, Chief Engineer, PWD (Buildings) and a Law Department official be entrusted the work of framing the legislation.
