HYDERABAD, Aug. 12: No significant outcome was noticed in the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Board's stand on the proposed strike on August 18 and 19, even after talks with the chief minister. The Joint Council of Action (JCA) held that the revamping could be achieved within the existing framework under which the board would function as a single entity. Meanwhile the State finance minister, Ashok Gajapathi Raju has said that the agreement with modalities and details was under preparation.
