CHENNAI, Aug. 14: The Special Court III has rejected a plea from former AIADMK social welfare and handlooms minister, R Indirakumari, to discharge her from the Rs 10 crore textile scam case. The former minister had pleaded to be acquitted on the ground that there is no valid sanction to prosecute her under Sec 197 CrPC and under Sec 19 of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
