IMPHAL, Aug 24: At least 19 suspected Naga extremists were arrested by security forces from Manipur's Senapati district this morning, official sources said.

Security forces had to resort to firing when the village women folk tried to prevent personnel of the 44th Bihar Regiment from arresting the extremists, the sources said adding that no one was injured.
