SP calls for rail roko

UNITED NEWS OF INDIA

MUMBAI, November 5: The Samajwadi Party (SP) will hold a rail roko for all trains leaving for Delhi from Mumbai to intensify its agitation demanding bail for those languishing in jail under the scrapped Terrorist and Disruptive Activities Act (TADA).

Announcing this at a press conference, Abu Asim Azami, president of the Mumbai unit of the party, said it was their efforts in this direction that had compelled the central government to appoint a review committee.

However, nothing has been done in this matter till today, he lamented. ``Therefore, we have no option but to intensify our agitation and make it aggressive so that we make our intentions loud and clear'', he said.
