RAJKOT, November 5: Off-spinner Kashyap Mehta grabbed four wickets for 29 to lead Saurashtra to a four-run victory over Baroda in the West Zone Ranji One-Day match at the Municipal Corporation Ground here.

Saurashtra made 223 for seven in 50 overs while Baroda could score 219 for eight wickets after being sent in.

Khoda scores century

NEW DELHI: Railways did well to restrict Rajasthan to 189 in the Central Zone league match at the Karnail Singh Stadium today.

Opener Gagan Khoda dominated the innings with his 111 -- his fifth century in the National Championships. At stumps, Railways were struggling at 61 for three.

Rajput slams ton

NAGPUR: Skipper Lalchand Rajput hit an unbeaten 116 to enable Vidarbha finish the first day at 231 for seven wickets against Madhya Pradesh in the Central Zone league match at VCA ground.

Rajput, who hit 17 fours, added 120 for the fifth wicket with Ulhas Gandhe (38).

One-day tie abandoned

KOCHI: The South Zone one-day cricket match between Kerala and Andhra at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium here was abandoned without a ball being bowled. The teams picked up two points each from this outing. Overnight rain had left certain parts of the outfield wet.
