November 9: The city Congress unit has demanded an inquiry by the CBI into an alleged note written by Kirit Somaiya, the BJP's city unit president, in relation to the payment of Rs 13 crore brokerage on lease finance to the MSEB's power project at Kaperkheda.

* The South Indian Bhajana Samaj is organizing a programme of special pujas, homam and spiritual discourses with bhajans by his holiness Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swami between November 17 and 20 at Sivaswamy Auditorium, Fine Arts Society, Chembur. The programme will begin at 7.30 am.

* The Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies will conduct a seminar on `Changing face of the Indian Consumer - the Communications Agenda' on November 12 at World Trade Centre.
