Darbari Seth steps down

MUMBAI, Nov 18: Darbari Seth today stepped down from the boards of several Tata companies on completing what he described as "very active, very busy and fulfilling 55 years in Tatas." Seth stepped down from the boards of Rallis India Ltd, Asian Coffee, Tata Tetley and Tata NYK Transport Systems.

However, he would continue as the chairman-emiretus of these companies, a statement from the Bombay House said. He also relinquished the post of director of the Great Eastern Shipping Company.. He is also chairman emeritus of Tata Chemicals and Tata Tea.
