National Govt is our best bet, says Sangma

UNITED NEWS OF INDIA

JAIPUR, Nov 23: Lok Sabha Speaker P A Sangma today suggested that a national government be formed at the Centre in view of the prevailing political situation.

Talking to mediapersons informally here, Sangma said that this might help the country tide over the current political crisis and provide political stability. The Speaker added that no party presently wanted a snap mid-term poll. Besides, even fresh elections might produce a hung Lok Sabha, he remarked.

Sangma came here this morning to participate in the launching ceremony of a Hindi eveninger Mahanagar Times. After the function, he participated in a lunch hosted by Chief Minister Bhairon Singh Shekhawat and later flew back to New Delhi along with him.
