NEW DELHI, Dec 2: In a release issued by the Indian Newspaper Society (INS), it has been intimated that Mr Basudev Ray and Mr Manoj K Sonthalia, members of the Executive Committee of the Society, have been nominated as representatives of the INS on the Wage Boards for Working Journalists and Non-Journalists, Newspaper and News Agency Employees, respectively. The Notifications in respect of these nominations have been issued by the Govt of India in the Ministry of Labour on November 19, 1997.

Mr Basudev Ray and Mr Manoj K Sonthalia are, accordingly, attending the meetings of the Wage Boards currently in progress in Calcutta.
