MUMBAI, Dec 7: Vastly improved Irish Boss (C Rajendra up) continued his winning spree by claming in a stylish manner The AC Ardeshir Trophy, the graded and the feature event of the Special Race Day held here on Sunday. This charge of trainer Imtiaz A Sait came in his own at Pune and won two races in a row.

Southern challengers Estocade, the favourite, and Another Treat met with mishaps during the race and their best could not surface. Ministerial with 63.5 kgs put up a bold show and finished closely by 3/4 length behind the winner.

Poonawalla Stud Farm created a record of sorts by becoming the first breeders in the country to capture 200 Classics when Amyntoi won the Golcunda 2000 Guineas at Hyderabad on Sunday. Amyntoi is sired by Riyahi out of Private Collection. Fitz Call was the first win to Poonawala brothers.
