Kalina emerge winners

December 7: Kalina camp won the retained the boy's crown at the inter-camp event organised by the Bipin Memorial Football Association (BMFA) at the Karnataka Sports Ground, yesterday. Three teams finished with six points but Kalina emerged winners with a higher goal difference. Sahar and Malad (Orlem) were the other top-scoring teams with former taking the second spot. Churchgate and Borivli were the other teams participating. In the girls section Borivli emerged supreme, scoring over the other teams via the tie-breaker.

Dipti Bohra, John Fernandes (Kalina), Ronak Ali Sheikh (Sahar), Sheldon Carvalho (Malad), Ansari Ahaan (Churchgate) and Nirlop (Borivli) received special prizes. Alban Almeida of Sahar took the "Player of the Tournament" Award. The Fairplay Trophy went to Churchgate.

The State Sports and Employment Secretary, Rameshchandra Kanade gave away the prizes.
