GUWAHATI, DEC 7: Prime Minister Inder Kumar Gujral today appealed to non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and the people in general to cooperate in eradicating polio from the country.

Administering pulse polio vaccine to 30 babies here, Gujral urged the NGOs and other concerned authorities to fulfil the target of total eradication of polio by the year 2000.
